  • Schools must establish Parent-Student-Teacher Unions with 7 to 9 members, elected by a selection committee of 3 members.
  • Union members must have good manners, coordination skills, be willing to serve, and not reflect religious or political bias.

  • Members may be elected for two terms, but the Assembly can change them at any time.
  • The Union can adopt internal regulations not inconsistent with this Directive.
  • A teacher who is a member of the association cannot be terminated due to their membership.

    • Teachers who do not fulfill professional responsibilities can be corrected by the union.

Penalties

  • If a decision is not made on the disciplinary deficit of teachers and staff and other issues that should be decided at the school level, the union should directly submit it to the school board/superior body/ to facilitate an immediate decision.
